@MrXnews, In the Rust books, under Jack Albin, all of the Edisons and Crowns are Albin, and the Harmony Nov5'30 session is Albin. June6'30 is Fred Rich and Aug18'30 is Ford Britten. Everything else is Phil Spitalny. Plus, there are a couple of Spitalny sessions that are missing from this group. Under Clevelanders, all of the Brunswicks are Harry Reser, and the ARC sessions are all Spitalny.

There is no way a 91 year old recording could sound like this. This is definitely not a 78 from 1930. It sound's like it was just recorded digitally just yesterday.

No, these are not Columbia 5 minute records. The Columbia 5 minute records have " Longer Playing Record" printed on the label. I doubt if more than 10 of these were ever issued. I have two. The recording quality is fantastic! Columbia also issued - on the Harmony label- "Double Track" records - with two versions of the same song in parallel grooves.

No....for one thing.....knew 2 or 3 people who WERE in Atlantic City when all that was going down....and my Grand Dad make some of the 'Bootleg Gin' that was sold in some of the Gin Mills...so no, the violence was real...but that was as they say in the ''The Godfather'', this is the Life we Chose''...over, the end and out...LoL.
