March 2020 ..... just when I am thinking the country is in trouble .... that our future is bleak .... I needed something to give me hope ..... so i put on my earphones to listen to Pax41 and there is a song at 9:46 that my grandmother used to sing to me and my sister when we were kids ..... all of a sudden the despair is replaced by hope .... for us all.

We had an earthquake several days ago here in Utah near Salt Lake City, it was 5.7. It damaged a number of buildings in the area but not to the extent of damage I saw in Croatia. Pax41 Music Time Machine I’m out of work for the duration, and we hope it will not be one day longer than needed. But i’ll use the time to write that novel i’ve been working on, so it’s not a waste for us. A friend of mine has come down with the virus and is quarantined at a nearby hospital. May God have mercy on him and all that suffer. May it not come near you.

Hello Neil and so great to hear that you are okay. We are fine for now but very hard to find groceries, it's like nothing I have ever seen. I started about a month ago slowly adding a few things just in case. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the lack of finding meat, besides bacon and hot dogs. I hope it gets better within 4 weeks or it may be a problem. I have avoided the stores and getting things delivered to the house, if they have stock. How is it there?

@@pax41 It's pretty much the same over here; long lines of shoppers and mostly empty shelves. Even bread at the bakeries is scarce. This is affecting rich and poor alike, can't do much with money if there's no food available for sale. Some people say the situation will be like this till June or much longer...perhaps September. May the good Lord bless and keep you and your family safe through this time of uncertainty.

@@neilgoloy3582 Thank you Neil and I pray the same for you as well. I actually ordered seeds in order to plant a garden. I use to garden all the time but stopped about 15 years ago. Good thing I kept all of my tools and I actually have a decent size back yard here. Two of my brothers live in Tennessee and they each own about 20 acres of land. The one plants a big vegetable garden but he is going to plant a couple acres of it this year.

@@pax41 Having a garden as a source of food is a good idea, Bob. Perhaps raising some poultry may be beneficial as well. I reckon it's also a good idea to have a firearm or two around the house just in case. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to your next video. :-)

Elizabeth, how are things were you are at? I agree with you that we all need to help aid others during this time. My wife gave some TP to coworkers that were in need and unable to find it anywhere. I had been storing up since the early part of February because I was worried about what was going on. My wife and kids thought I was going overboard but now they are glad I did it. I have limited capacity for frozen foods so couldn't stock up on that too much. My two brothers have multiple freezers and have enough for a year stored away. I wish the news would stop being so negative and post some positive news. This is the time for this nation as a whole to come together and not be divided. It may take those of us that have the right mind frame to start leading the example. I was so glad to hear from you Elizabeth and pray you are safe and well. 🙏😊
