My dad bought one when he was a 15 year old aircraft apprentice in the 1940s working on Short Sunderland flying boats. Some wag had shoehorned an eight valve British Anzani race engine into it. Mum said it was frightening. They sold it when they got married to buy an oil heater.

Steve, here! Volunteer at the National Automobile Museum in Reno. We have a ‘33 and are sorting some wiring issues. Just sourced a wiring diagram but no ignition key and the lighting, charging ignition switch appears to have failed. A small screwdriver in the key opening turns with no detents or effect. 😟Ignition is “hot” all the time. Any advice appreciated!
