I purchased the radio portion of a 193?, RCA Victor Duo - so nice to see yours in operation and I just purchased a Victor turntable that looks almost exactly like this one. Gives me hope to one day mate it to a cabinet like yours and have a nice radio set. Thanks for posting.

RCA discontinued production of their "Program Transcriptions" by the start of 1934. Whatever stock was left continued to be offered in their catalogs through 1939.

I’ve never seen one of these before and I can’t make out how the arm picks up the record. Is it some kind of vacuum suction?
