I love watching all your videos. You have inspired me. It has changed my life. I found out I had cancer in August it wrecked me. I went through surgery in November. After that, I wasn't myself. I was so depressed and stopped living. I found one of your resin videos, and it sparked something inside of me. This was the beginning of February. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm crafting! It keeps my mind busy. You never know how your videos change people's lives. Thank you, and God bless you. ❤

I'm enjoying watching you play with making crystals. I did a project back in middle school... To see what would grow crystals and how big they'd get in a certain amount of time. I used salt, sugar and instant coffee crystals. Then baked them. All grew crystals... But I can't recall which he largest crystals in just the baking time. But thought I'd bring it up because you can try making geodes for a little cheaper than alum. Love your purple one, looks like Amethyst ❤❤

Maybe take some of the water (accounting for your measured volume) and freeze it. Then, zero out the scale with the measuring glass on the scales, measure the alum into it to the right weight, and add the boiling water so you don't have to microwave. Dissolve it and then add the ice cubes to quickly cool it so you don't have the crystal formation at the bottom. Give it a try, experiments are always fun!!!! Maybe put a couple of those little painting stand (little triangle thing acrylic pouring videos use?) to hold the geode up off the bottom and have less chance of it sticking to the crystals and breaking sections off??

Hey Julie! Wow, how gorgeous!! Yes, the dye does separate a bit but it didn't effect how beautiful the purple was. I was so nervous every time you kept picking at it...I was saying, no Julie, just stop!! LOL🤣 Love this project, can't wait to see more colors! Hey, what about doing one with 2 or more colors? You could do the process on part of the cave/piece while keeping the other end out of the solution and when that's done, do another color on the other side that was out of that colored solution...I bet it would look so magical!! It might be tricky to keep the ends held up and out of the solution but with pop sticks etc, I know you'd figure it out, you always do!😉 Just an idea or brain storming here because this turned out so beautiful so why not try to take it to the next level...so exciting!! You "rock"...I made a funny!!😂Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!!🤗😍
