She's a beauty! I like the tool chest and oilcan nested over the engine. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome machine. Love these old 30s and 40s tractors.

Such simple machines should be very affordable and available for all homesteaders with several acres to tend for. But I see only big expensive tractors for sale instead, and modern walk behinds costs a lot too.

Sweet! Probably as strong at age 86 as it was when it was in its prime. I hope I'll be able to say that, someday, but I doubt it!

Turning over dirt that's previously been tilled w/ no vegetation on it is pretty easy. Especially only 2" deep. In fact it's pointless. Also Too, it sounds like the governor is not increasing the throttle as the engine begins loading. I'm all for old machinery especially when it works right. Need a little fine tuning.

it should be increasing in RPMs as the load gets heavier, I agree. Would be cool to see what that thing is actually capable of when properly tuned up.

I'mtrying to find info on a o wheel dtractor I plowed gardens with in the early 1950's. All sdteel frame, steel cleat wheels, wheels about 3" wide, with alternating cleats, cross wise or lenghth wise. Extension rims bolted on, adding three inches in width to the wheels, all cleat square acrross, and all cleats approx 2" high. Had a mounted 12" moldboard plow, with disc blade cutter wheel. plow interchanged with a disc harrow, mounted to frame, with swivel. two sets of cultivator prongs were mounted, directly bcehind the wheels. The Handle grips were mounted on a shaft, so by rotating the wooden grips, the cultivaxors were moved side to side. a two wheel axle could be mounted in place of the plow or disc, making it driveab le without the plow, Very heavy all steel construction, when Dad bought it, Engine was shot, re mounted a five horse Clinton, chain drive to to sprockets on idler shaft, by switching chain to small gear, greatly increased speed. the intermediate shaft had gears on each end to drive the main wheels. After seventy years, can't recall gear drive wheel arrangement. I plowed many a garden while in school with this, until chain jumped off, bending engine shaft to the point it would no longer work. Manual clutch lever, of course, either engaged or not, thumb throttle. Wheels about 30" diameter, 36" wide, length five feet or so, handlebar to nose. By adding a sulky and two wheel trailer, I could transport very heavy loads. Have never seen anything similar, don't remember any name on it probably two hundred pounds, lifting the plow at the end of a furrow was all I could handle at 14 or so. Any ideas on make, model, age based on my descrxiption would be appreciated. Enjoyed your videos -

Hey buddy, thanks so much for this video. I'm so impressed with how well that motor runs. The depth of the plow is as good as a Super A!!!
