Walking tractors are a solution to Africa's farming challenges. I have decided to be a champion of change by manufacturing them right here in Africa. I believe that we will solve the challenges our small farmers are facing by getting rid of the hoe. Thanks for sharing this video.

Compared with South East Asia Africa has been very slow in taking up the single axle tractors. As a consequence African farms are the least mechanised in the world. National governments and donor agencies bear responsibility for promoting top down where rich farmers get subsidies tractors and implements whilst the majority are left with no option but to stay with the hoe and the panga.

Spot on. Farming in Africa is largely based on small-holder farmers, yet donors and government policies favor large scale farmers. Support to this critical sector is noticeably absent and until this is adequately addressed, mechanization and significant food production will remain a mirage in a continent which holds 65% of the world's total uncultivated arable land.

Looks like the dirt chunks are too rough soil must be like powder. For 1 pass only drive slower but increase till speed. Smaller machine usually must work slower. Aldo i would suggest a sulky seat that pivots and rides in the tractor tire area.

Low on maintenance costs, but if you want to scale up production, then better go for a 4 wheeler

I have a power tiller of 13.500 hp but without variety of attachment most of the work cannot carried out. So, attachment must be supplied by the Comp. a lot.

Ours has three attachments...plough, rotavator and bed former. It can even accomodate a planter...quite versatile

I suddenly remember my protoype. A transforming chasis.. can be a 4wheel tractors, can be a hand tractor, can be a railwheeled tractor, can be a cart, can be a water pumps, can be wood lumber, can be tree cutting machines, can be a backhoe, can be a loader... with very very ligth steel welded.. fabricated chasis. All you need to do is put a engine that revs the mechanism... unfurtunately things got compromised due of govoftax militia. Hmmm tsk
