It smoked all the way to work up route 93 and back again.lol. I got her up to 85 one day and couldn't see the cars behind me !..lol. I took it off the road. and GAVE it to a junk yard ! Stupid ! I've owned and registered over 50 cars in my life . I would get bored within a few months and buy something else...I should have kept them. Matt.

That is a Roadmaster, model 81-F. The F stands for formal, formal sedans had the roll up window between the front & back seat. Those portholes on the hood must have been a previous owner's custom touch, they didn't have them factory until 1949.

It saddens me deeply to see cars like these in such wet and rough environments, that tear down vehicles so quickly, and leave them in a state of rust and decay, and in my opinion there is a special place in hell for people who leave these cars like this one in such places, unless it’s out of there control

My mechanic collects Metros. There was one locally that he tried to buy 20 years ago. The owner wouldn't sell, and and it's still sitting in the same spot with a tree growing up through it. His junk yard currently has a '54 Ford awaiting the crusher. He tried to buy it years ago, then a tree fell on it and caved in the top.

Ok my cousin had and may still have the Marin Brando's limo from the godfather movie the one where Marlon Brando fell over when they shot him. Everytime I se a old Buick limo or a old pretty much anything I think of Stan . I spoke to him a few years ago when I came across a ford model t speedster with a impressive history . It had won a race to the American expo (the first world's fair I Seattle not the 1962) that race put Ford on the map. It was $18,000. My cousin was getting older and sold most of his collection topay for his 2 daughters weddings and I guess he bought them houses . He was up to over 300 cars at the time including a 36 Auburn cord boat tail speedster that won the grand Nationals 5 time he covered it and put it in a warehouse he had in 1978 and forgot about it until he was asked to put it Ina parade it hadn't been uncovered in almost 35 years neither of his kids were born the last time it was out. Must be nice...
