1940 ? Chevy army truck used and abused

Great old Chevy truck. I've had a few, used, used and abused them, but just kept adding gas, oil and water they kept on running. That truck's extra cool being old war iron like it is.

Cool old truck but a chore to drive! We have a 1947 Greyhound bus that has no power steering and the old Detroit 2 stroker smokes like a fiend but she keeps on going! Thanks!

That would be a 1941-42. I was saw mill engineer a very long time ago and we had one of those and GMC 6x6 for hauling sawdust ,until we built the new mill and they weren't big enough to cope with the extra work. In New Zealand a company called GT Gillies bought up hundreds of them left over from the war in the pacific ,and we were able to buy any part needed. The firm closed recently and all left over bits were scrapped.
