Very cool job, however the house lacks that architectural oomph that makes people happy.

Nice work. I am renovating our townhouse (1978 build). I gutted it; removed everything...doors, windows, cabinets, bathroom, gutters, soffits, flooring...everything. I am bringing it to the 21st century. It will be a brand new home. It's amazing what workmanship you find behind those walls (some crap work). There was a "WTF" every time I started on something. The one scary thing was the ceiling drywall in the master bedroom was 5-6" off the joists and similar with both bathrooms that set me back some time. I had to remove all of the blown in insulation (what a job) and jack up the drywall and re secure it to the joist. Fortunately, I did not break one seam. I had to add lights to everyone room in the house because it was all switched outlets for lamps, rework undersized electrical circuits, redo about 80% of the plumbing. It's a lot of work when you are literally doing it all by yourself. Unlike yourself, I am getting out of the landlord business (did it for 23 years) and will be selling the home (getting all my money at once). Hopefully, you get a good tenant who pays timely. Do Not Rent to Family or Friends and make sure everything is documented and the lease agreement is tight and very specific. What color paint did you use?

Oh I hear you. Wait to I film the other house. It's a WTF all over the place. I have no idea what color, I just went in and picked the first one I liked, LOL. Makes it's easier lol

@@Askmediy I bet with that old of a house. It will be interesting to see how they built that house. Are these your own properties?

WOW! Just as expected - that really came out looking fantastic! You started with what was in essence a "shell of a home" considering the condition @ the time you acquired it but now it is really a nice cute home. Forgot until you showed it there is another one besides so that will be fun to watch and see how it progresses. COOL! :-) Thanks for posting and the virtual tour.

You need 200 amp regardless because they’re going to be banning all new gas appliances and everything available will require 220volt electric. Don’t have 200 amp service? No ability to add 30 amp breaker? You’re out of luck. No electric car, new fridge, oven, boiler, etc. for you.
