This is exactly the sort of place I love the most. The old offices and rooms with their original fittings intrigue me immensely, and this is a real corker, as they say. I wonder if there are many more like that around town, and around the country for that matter. Fantastic stuff. And it brings to mind the time my band had a gig at a bar-restaurant. We'd store our equipment in the upstairs space which still had numbered rooms from the time it had been a hotel some decades before. I wish I'd taken the time to explore more fully, but the band thing just didn't allow for it.

What a cool adventure, going upstairs and seeing all of that history. So cool. The banana splits looked HUGE. I'd have to order one. Sure would like to see that coal and all of the stuff he has in the basement. LOL The mural is amazing! Thanks for doing what you do for us.

John , awesome video my friend . THANK you for this one. All the " Antique's " in this video is not old to me , cause I grew up with all these things WAY BACK IN THE DAY ! Love the phone .I grew up in the Bronx NY. In the 1950's I remember when my mom would give me a list to give to the grocery store owner and some money and tell me " you will get back one dollar and two quarters" it was different change Everytime .my parents smoked ( I never did ) they smoked Kent ciggerates they sent me down with a 10 dollar bill and would say you will get back a dime . Your work always brings back memories thank you for this video.. I know it's long but what the hell. I hope you read this today both my parents would be put in prison for what was normal back in the mid 1950's I live in Montana now ( as far away from the Bronx as possible ) been here for 34 years .again hope you read this FRANK FROM MONTANA........

I still have a 1959 upright freezer I inherited from my mother-in-law. It still runs like a top and I've never had to do anything to it except plug it in. They just don't make things like they used to.
