Found an old spirit soldering iron under the house, not quite the same on the tip and blow torch arrangement but identical on the fuel reservoir and pressure pump. Thanks for your video, I now know how to restore it.

Mais quelle horrible restauration !! Cette lampe à souder qui ne demandait rien, si ce n'est de REFONCTIONNER peut être un jour, s'est retrouvée dénaturée, , privée de toutes ces traces, qui avaient marqués sa vie auprès d'un artisan, ou deux, certainement un ferblantier, un zingueur, au vu de la panne en cuivre où subsistait encore un peu d'étamage... Mince, pauvre panne qui s'est retrouvée meulée polie, débarrassée de son manche serti dans la masse. Pour être remplacé par un vulgaire fer rond.. N'importe quoi !! Cet objet a perdu son âme et même pas que vous lui avait donné vie en lui faisant cracher sa flamme, Non monsieur ce travail n'est ni beau, ni intéressant, vous cumulez les âneries... Je ne vous donne même pas une note , Essayer de mieux faire par la suite....

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. That being said I would prefer if you restyled your channel and chose a more original name and logo. There'll only ever be one 'my mechanics' on KZbin. You've got to admit - your channel name and the chain around your logo bear a striking resemblance. Even the editing and video titles are oddly familiar. It comes across as copying and there's no need to. Your work is good. Be you. Uniquely you.

Why do you go through so much effort with some details, yet completely ignore equally important aspects - like PROPERLY mounting your extremely dangerous grinder? It looks like a child started the mounting screws and just walked away.

You're right, I was a beginner then. And I didn't have a workshop. In the morning I had to put the instruments on the table in the open air and collect them in the evening. In my geography, winters are cold and summers are hot. but now i have a workshop and you can see it from the last video i uploaded.

your work is almost identical to "my mechanics" your style is unmistakably the same (inc your hatred of rough edges). The tools are different though. My mechanics has his imitators and they are poor but you are not.
