Fantastic skills and workmanship, howevrr its not a restoration its simply a new tool, a beautiful one granted. Would have prefered to see the original handle restored and showing the patina of the old tool. Blade needs to be slightly curved, will be so difficult to use like that.

Not all of us can do restorations as thoroughly and meticulously as "My Mechanics", but this guy can. Proper job. This one earned you another sub

Ich hatte bei einer Schraubstockrestaurierung diesen alten Schleifer in Aktion gesehen und dachte mir schon, dass du ihn dir vornehmen wirst. Tut einfach gut, so detaillierte und gewissenhafte Arbeit zu sehen. Kommt ja leider aus der Mode. Die Kollegen aus dem Werkzeugbau hatte ich schon mit deinen Videos angefixt. 🤣 Die sind bei so etwas ebenfalls sehr genau und lieben auch solch gute Arbeit.
