Nicely done, the bowl under the burner was incorrectly installed. This is used to heat the lamp, you pour gasoline into it, let it burn and then light the lamp. Nice greetings from Germany

Beautiful finished restoration, one of the best I’ve seen. I have one of these I purchased at a yard sale for $15.00 with the intent of restoring it. Now, thanks to your video, I have an example as to how to do it. Almost like a personal trainer to help. One suggestion though, please don’t use vise grips to break a bolt or nut free for removal as it can leave gouges in the part. I learned that the hard way by having to file away those gouges as they looked terrible. I now always use either a socket or box end wrench the correctly sized. Just some advice for the future. Again, very nice outcome and hope mine looks half as well as yours in the end. Thanks for an entertaining project that gave me a sense of relaxation while watching.

Hi I use the vinger, flour and salt to remove the erosion form my chandelier and left it for 48 hours, but after cleaning it the golden look mived to more like cupper red color. Is there a way to chnagw it back to be more golden? Thank you and also, thanks for the great job you do here and challenging me. Amos

Ich denke, du hast die Feuerschahle falsch herum angebaut. Dort drin wird normalerweise zum Aufheizen Spiritus eingefüllt und angezündet. Mit der Öffnung nach unten geht das nicht. Viele Grüße Jörg

This looks very nice. I could do half of the job (disassembly) and then I could maybe clean it up a little bit (not as good as you did) and then I would have to throw it all out because I could never reassemble it again.

I confess when I was disassembling I didn't expect there would be so many parts I guess once I was afraid that I would not be able to collect it. but it is worth trying.

Hi Mechaniker, i also try to restore this almost exact type, but i cant get the burnerpart loose from the bottle part, it is very stuck. How did you get it loose? There is no bolt to place a wrench on. Hope you perhaps have a tip? Perhaps a towel around it, and hit it with a hammer?
