@@meladhanna6031 the so called "Assyrians" began to form terrorist groups and they decapitated tens of soldiers which rendered the decision to send military reinforcement to crush the terrorists. There's no such thing as Assyrian anyway. All Iraqi Christians are Arab Christians who spoke Aramaic and migrated from Arabia to Mesopotamia. The European churches didn't like the Aramaic practice of Christianity and split the church into "Chaldean Babylonians" and "Orthodox Assyrians"" they did this so they can destroy the religious ideology that was practiced and to cause internal fights. Know your history. 😂

@@mikeletterst9882 not knowing of history I guess, they never formed terrorist groups they asked for autonomy from Iraq after years of neglect from the British after the artificial creation of Iraq by the British in 1921. where not from arabia I can tell your some pan Arab hiding under a western name and Assyrian continuism has been proven numerous times cope and seethe, the historic church of the east had mostly problems with patriarchs because it was a hereditary line so some of the them split and asked the Vatican for legitimacy and created the Chaldean catholic church, they where given the term Chaldean to distinguish themselves from the ones that remained to the church of the east. Arab propaganda about the 1933 simele massacre always paints the picture like we started a "Revolution" or "Rebellion" but its not true that its unbelievable, it was the work of the British and the greed of the Arabs who wouldn't want such a thing that this sad massacre happened. pls read history and be unbiased, Assyrians speak Akkadian influenced aramaic, Jesus speak Judean aramaic which was influenced by Hebrew and the Maronites and Rum Orthodox's Aramaic was influenced by caananite or as the greeks called northern canaanites phonecians.

The French and British made deal on how to divide up other people's lands without them even knowing it!!!! Thats what set this all off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you blind. Those colonialism decisions carried over for generations. If Hitler had not started WW2 it would have started in the middle East!!!! Then the USA jumped in when they armed and supported Saddam Hussein; then killed him because they could not control him!!!!! Are you crazy!!!!

Asmoh i can see your point there, but then again, the Turks we’re seen as opressors and occupiers by the arabs it seems as they wanted to be independant from the ottomans too. I’m pretty sure no one from the arab nations want to be under the Turks. Especially countries like syria.
