1941 Piper J5A First Flight after ground up rebuild

I just completed a 12 year rebuild of this 1941 Piper J5 cub. This is the first flight. Plane ran and flew excellent.

My 1st solo, after 4.5 hours of dual age 16, 1965 , was in the 65 hp version. Soloing in front is much better than from rear in J -3
