I came here just to remember my dad. He bought this beautiful game, in 2001 before he died! And I lost the will to live. I was only 13 years old, just a little boy. I quit playing video games until I figure out a way to be successful! Now that I make it, I was recovering my old memories, this video game came on my mind. Thank for posting.

1943: The Battle of Midway on the NES and this game used different names for the battleships and bomber fleets encountered. This is a euphemism. The only name they didn't change was Ayako. Also, pro tip: When taking down bosses in this game, autofiring the A button is the best option. Hell, in any shoot-em-up game like this, autofire's a NECESSITY. You wouldn't survive the harder stages if Autofire isn't on. Besides, you wouldn't want to keep pressing your thumb repeatedly on the B or A buttons all the time, right?

Pro tip for this game: Autofire ON for both A and B. Use Autofire-A on battleships and mother bombers for fast defeat. Use Autofire-B to take out incoming enemy planes.

Here, it's a little more lax because instead of cutting energy by using a lightning strike, you press A to shoot the more powerful laser weapon, which make quick work of the battleships and Renzan/Fugaku bombers
