ADORE MOLLY TUTTLE!! She makes playing look so effortless, but extremely gifted player. It's like Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Glen Campbell, Barbara Mandrell, Lester Flatt, Ricky Skaggs and Doc Watson all got together to create a child.....and here she is, Molly Tuttle!

I remember hearing Molly playing with her father during one of the Grass Valley Festivals years ago, I have always wondered how she would develop as a musician and a vocalist. Years have passed, life has gone on, and personal tragedies have kept me from the music scene. It warms my heart to see how well this charming young woman has developed with her picking and her vocals. Great work Molly! I really enjoyed hearing you pick and sing so well. Oh Yes, that is an exceptionally nice instrument also.

This might possibly be the best version of this song that I've ever heard. And that right-hand technique... banjo influenced bigtime! When music is played this well no fancy mixing or mastering is needed. Her voice is beautiful too. Genuine, authentic, organic... Love it!

doesnt hurt to have nice mics and good recordings ! =) this recording sounds very weird and thin. mixing doesn't necissarily mean making it worse by overprocessing it. there's good mixing and bad mixing =) but I agree she plays amazing here! a captivating performance always comes first and will trump everything else.

Molly has impressed me since 2006 when I ran across her and her siblings doing Beaumont Rag... they are also gifted musicians. They have never done less than blow my sox off, no matter what they do... even though some of the recordings were less than perfect.... but, that's not a criticism! I am glad to have any recording of them playing. I have all her CD's and wait with baited breath for the next one.... Thanks, Molly!

Grazie mille ciao.
