My dad restored a 1964(?) convertible-top Mustang back in the late 70’s, when I was in high school. He loved that car. Thanx for sharing your rebuild and triggering some good memories.

Man u don’t know how many old memories that video brings back. My 49 looked just like that 46. Mine had a homemade cab that someone did a pretty good job , it just didn’t have any doors. I liked to have froze to death several times back in the early 70s . It sure brings back hundreds of memories. Mine was red with the cab painted silver. Sure wish I had kept mine. Congratulations Kevin

Great Show Kev!! I Like the Jeep very much ! Like a lot of your valued viewers I'm sure, I was in the US Army . Where I live know in N.W. France during WW2 Jeeps just like that rolled threw here some of the old-timers told me ! I recently metal detected a nice US Military uniform button , D. Evans and Co. Mass has 13 stars and a Eagle carrying a Boat anchor in it's beak !! nicest button I have !! Really enjoyed this update !! Also enjoying some of your old videos ! Thanks again from Kevin in France and Florida

Love the flat fender Kevin! I have a WW2 jeep, a 1942 Ford GPW I restored. Have put 40K on it since. Glad you are keeping the paint job as is. You'll get tons of looks and waves. When I saw the hood scoop I knew you had a F Head engine instead of the L Head. Common mod. Enjoy! Ready for some metal detecting vids. Enjoy watching a fellow Texan detectorist.

It spent a big part of it's life on a ranch and apparently park in a barn when not being used. The under carriage is still solid as the body.
