This piece of history is FABULOUS..!!! So unique & beautiful......This Packard was made when cars had their own unique style and actually looked very regal on the highway.

Being a Brit, I love the the look of your car from the 1940's. all the curves and art deco interior style, nice plush seats, and this is one beautiful car, it's as though the manufacturers of the time wanted to get rid of the depression of the 2nd world war. it's something we could do with now. Thank you for sharing , take care all over that side of the pond.

A while back, I bought 7 1947 dated Packard Clipper hubcaps for $50. Four of them are brass, not chrome plated. I was told that they're quite rare to see anywhere

Excelent car for crusing at east LA
@retiredispose89804 жыл бұрын
Like it. Would that color or something close to it have been available as original?
@RamblinAround4 жыл бұрын
They had a couple of versions of maroon at the time, but that's about as close as they had to this. This red is definitely a bit brighter than the factory colors.

This might seem like a really dumb question but what does a cal vent do exactly?😂
@RamblinAround4 жыл бұрын
The cowl vent is just a flap that you can open manually to let outside air into the cabin.
