Thanks guys. I was given an old one of these (similar - villiers engine, but used a manual cone clutch), when I was a teenager in the early eighties. I chopped it to pieces and adapted it to a go kart chassis that I made out of water pipe. It went. But we later put a victa 160cc on it. I learned a lot as a kid getting that thing to work. Love the nostalgia.

that was really cool. my Dad had one in the 60's and it is what i learned to do mechanical things on. now i design machinery for a living and the other day i bought a Ransome 18" Minor from the eco shop for $30. same engine but kick start. how did you make the decals coz i need Ransome ones for my mower? make more videos.

In the video you can see quickly I redrew them in Adobe Illustrator then I got them printed onto vinyl adhesive and cut them out by hand.

Eoghan MacDonald I redrew them myself based of the photos I took of the original on the mower and referencing of the manuals and ads (I’m a graphic designer so that part was easy for me).
