In 1958 Easter I was 7 and younger brother about 3 attended a car race at wigram with mum (then 44) her sister and husband, feeling pebbles hitting my face as cars whipped around the track. No protection, safety barriers just an open air event as pedestrians watching from the side of the road. I suspect we are probably in this footage somewhere lol.
