Loved these outfits. I have "going vintage" since spring and figuring out winter outfits has been difficult. I am also plus size so it makes it hard to thrift vintage because the average waist back then was the size of my thigh lol. I'm so glad you did the red holiday dress because it was STUNNING!!

hahaha finding plus size is definitely more challenging. The truth is, most of the regular/plus size garments were worn so much they didn't get handed down as keepsakes. It's not that plus size people didn't exist then, it's that the dresses we find today are tiny because they just weren't worn as much! best of luck finding things to work into your wardrobe!

I have always flirted with vintage but for the most part dressed in my own way, which seems to be called Dark Academia these days but I have been at it since the 1970s. I love the 40s and 50s and recently got back into pincurls and Victory Rolls because that look translates really well on to curvier figures and also on mature ladies like myself. Love your channel, I thought I had subscribed already but I fixed that this visit. I am looking forward to what you both did in this challenge. Wow you slayed (slew?) the lot....The red dress is beyond gorgeous and if it looked like it does on you, on me, I would want to live in it too!

You have the best eye for vintage style fashion even the things you showed that you didn't think looked vintage looked vintage. I have seen lots of 1940's sweaters that look like the sweater from Maurice's. Look up 1940's Nordic knit sweater and you will find tons of sweaters that look like yours.
