I am not sure how often I've watched this video, but it's one of my favorites. May I ask what kind of apple tree that is?

The dusting... I have a family of 4 and 3 animals. I have to clean fans, tvs, monitors, etc every week to two weeks at a minimum and it's made the entire family feel so much better. Apparent are all allergic to dust. 😅 My kids are helping though. Kids helped handle chores in the 1940s and older. It wasnt actually all on mom. This is all stuff I was taught in the 80s from my parents and grandparents but I couldnt really mentally apply it until I was in my 20s.

I do like to see someone with a house ‘in action’ (kids, cats, the chaos of a family) who does not hide every freakin’ object in a ‘aesthetic appropriate’ bowl/box, books sorted by color and every bed in the house with matching bedding. This is more real, this is something I watch and think: ‘Yes, this is something I dare try’ 😊

1st time watching your videos, back in the 1920’s there would have been a lot less stuff to tidy, fewer magazines, throws, and even dishes and clothes, and shoes. So you a doing a very good job even by yourself. I enjoyed this video. And a quick swish and swipe of the bathrooms at least every other day is doable.

I love your dresses. I also love how you explained that you wear normal clothes to bet stuff done. I always wear comfy clothes at home and was feeling a little inadequate watching these gorgeous dresses you wear, so you were kind to show yourself in normal clothes! I love your kittens as well 1💕

Mexicans use Hawthorne for lots of things, candies are really common, also we put them in ponche which is like a hot spiced Christmas fruit punch drink, and ate de tejocote which is kind of like membrillo but with Hawthorne.

Adorable! Well done! Has no one told you about cabinet rollers? They are very small and smooth with no texture or hairs. Look them up before your next project! 😉

You made a house your dream home!!! That’s a gift!!! Thoughtful intention, creativity, hardwork is what’s needed for that!!! Beautiful!!! If you can keep the yellow countertop & your stove makes the kitchen look authentic. My house is late 1950’s early 1960’s and we like it that way.

Prunes are one of my favorites! If you steam them, they are even better! I put them in my oatmeal sometimes. I want to make a prune pie sometime. My daughters ❤️ prunes too. I love plums as well.

Love this! I'm so very impressed with how transparent you are with feelings and doing these Clean outs. I just love you. I couldn't believe how motivated you were to do your own whole closet!!! It's "just me" with mine and I've had a hard time. Bless Your Heart!!! Keep going! You're doing great!!! Of Course!❤

You put so much hard work to create the kitchen you wanted and wow did you achieve that or what! I love retro styles I find them comforting and somewhere you can relax and be yourself. Im doing my house up and people have already said oh be aware of resale value. Sorry this is my home not an investment and I will decorate the way i want and the way that makes me happy. If you like it go for it, I think perhaps that can be both our mottos. Greetings from across the pond.

I love this! ❤️ I also run my water when I do my dishes. It's the only way that I can do them. I don't want a dishwasher. Really we don't have room for one. I would rather have my Hoosier cabinet and the cupboards. I want to get more vintage appliances one day. Ahhhh. Yes. Our home is 1950s and we need to renovate our kitchen and bathroom. It's going to it former glory one day. ❤. Keep doing what you are doing. You are beautiful 😍

I wish there was a way to reassure yourself that you don't need to be perfect without bringing people who seem 'perfect' to you down. Social media is fake, people will set an image they have carefully curated, but if you want to do that, that's fine because it's not impossible. It's being aware of your own limits that is the key instead of following other people without thinking. Y'all are adults, it's time to focus on loving yourself.

I love your kitchen. I had this too because when my husband, our oldest and I moved into our flat 12 years ago, we didn´t have that much money and the former tenants left us their kitchen for 50 €, so it was perfect for us financially, but we didn´t like it, it was a beige, modern Ikea style kitchen. But one year ago, we had finally spared enough money and my husband decided to redo the kitchen, and he built the kitchen himself with a more oriental/middle east style, with dark massive wood shelves and Marrocan hanging lamps and now we love our kitchen

When I first joined FaceBook many years ago, I was excited to use it as a way to write and share essays. However, it didn’t take long before I realized that writing on a public forum takes courage. I found I wasn’t ready to bravely put myself out there. I applaud you for sharing your unique way of life with all of us. Please know that many of us truly appreciate that! As far as the haters go, if you don’t have something nice or at least constructive to say, please just quit watching rather than hurt this lovely woman’s feelings!

Not sure if it's something going on with me but this video made me cry multiple times. You are the very essence of hobbitness. I know what it feels like to need to be intentional about slowing down - if I don't, my body will force me to sooner or later and that is no fun for anyone!
