I'm SO excited to share this video! This video was 100% made possible by you all, and I cannot express how thankful I am for that! Y'all, I have wanted to try to thrift plus size outfits for a while, and then within that thrift some Garden Girl fashion, so I'm doubly excited to share!
For reference, I am a 45-46 bust, a 35-36 waist, and a 52" hip. I'm generally a size 14-16 depending on the brand. I hope this helps you realize you can absolutely thrift vintage outfits!

I'm so excited to find a channel doing cottagecore/vintage style but in plus sizes! About your outfit without obvious garden motifs: it still reminded me of scenes from, like, a post-war Poirot where he's interviewing a bunch of sus guests with their cocktails and croquet mallets in the garden of an English country house, haha. So I still got garden vibes, even if they weren't obvious It's certainly not an exact resemblance or anything, but you remind me a lot of Melanie Lynskey, and I love her. In conclusion, I think your hairstyle in this video is really original and inspiring - and it certainly goes great with hats! Remember. This Body Gives Life. It helped me tremendously. My best friend got tried of me complaining of my " saggy boobs" . They're not actually. They're just heavy because they're large . She told me to pretend I was holding a baby and pointed out the way my *ipples are positioned is perfect for feeding. These are my words to you. This body gives life. My aesthetic. I've called it Frilled Gardener for me. Soft lines. Long skirts. Flowy. Light fabrics. But more reasonable.

ALSO I think my style is headed more garden girl esque- especially in the spring/summer! I recently found a super cute light pastel pink dress at the thrift store that I adore. And I got some yellow paper bag waistband shorts that look SUPER cute with a white lacy blouse I have (And they also look cute with a striped t-shirt I have). And my BF got me a super garden girl-y dress for my birthday that hasn't arrived yet but it's yellow and wonderful and everything I aspire to be! AND I recently thrifted some cotton cream and beige striped curtains (that I was going to use for mockups cause I sew/learning to make my own patterns) but then the fabric grew on me and I made a super cute gathered skirt out of it!! I take reusable shopping bags with me everywhere so the no-bag stores aren't a problem. Having my kid hold them gives them a responsibility that they love feeling included and helpful. Their favorite right now is to put all of "their stuff" in the shopping bag with hamburgers on it.

I love your body confidence! Kids and hernia have left my middle sticking out more than I like. Having a hard time with confidence and liking the stomach area. It doesn't help I am Peri menopausal and have gained some in that area all the sudden

That is really hard! My body has definitely changed a LOT in the last 5-6 years; after I had my girls I gained quite a bit of weight and have a diastasis recti, so similar to a hernia my belly sticks out pretty noticeably from the side. Sending love, our bodies are still good bodies!

I love all of them with the denim. I have always been a t-shirt and blue jeans girl because it was the only thing I was comfortable in but i have always loved bright colors and flora pattern the problem is that I have lacked the confidence to wear them but over the last year I have tried to wear some of the things that I think are beautiful but haven't had the confidence to try.
