Very nice truck you have. I own a 1940 01C 1/2 ton pickup. It's also flathead powered, engine is from a 53 Mercury. I have a total of 4 flatheads, 3 are the 49-53 block, and a 95% complete 60 horsepower from a 1940.

I think I've heard that '51 grille referred to as the graveyard or tombstone grille. That is a sweet truck. I appreciate it when people restore those old trucks (or cars) to original specs instead of changing the suspension and drive train to something newer or different. Dropping a small block Chevy in it would be a sin.
