That is a 51 Chevy pickup , dash alone tells me that after owning a few . Pull down out side door handles are 49 to 51 . 52 , 53 , 54 and early 55 had push button in their handle . That is the correct front motor mount for a pickup . Side mounts are probable 70s era car . Check the stamped frame number and you will know the year of Chevy it is . [ NOTE ] Oh and i just now subscribed .

The grill was the tell tell for me that it is a Chevy. Marker lights in the grill instead of on the fender and no surround like GMC had. Either way and awesome truck worth saving. That cab roof, lol.

If you haven't already, check out your Canadian neighbor on KZbin called "Carter Auto Restyling". He's heavy into these trucks, a great metal worker, with a keen sense of humor. I'll join the rest of the group saying this sure looks like a Chevy with a re-badged hood!! Don't know about differences due to Canadian manufacture??? But, the tailgate, interior (dash), grill, hood, engine, are all Chevy (American style). Love watching this kind of thing so I just "sub'd"!! ;o)

Are you sure that’s a GMC, it looks like a Chevy to me. That engine is a later model Chevy motor. What does the Dash say? General Motors or Chevrolet?

GMC never used that 6 cylinder engine they had their own and a much better one when they were new .
