One of the best compressors ever made! Very nice machine. The audio got messed up a little towards the end but was still watchable.

I think it’ll clean up nicely, although it’s going to take a lot of time to make that happen. I need to find someone that can make a new wheel for it. Btw you got to see this video early, meant to lock it before anyone saw it lol.

Hey Ken, As far as I know, in 1952 the Fedders room air conditioner you have was manufactured only in a 3/4 ton model. There was a 1/2 ton version of a different chassis design. A one ton console model was also available. Starting in 1953 Fedders made 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton models on the same style chassis.

Thank you Ken for the great info! I’d love to find a console (no hurry however since I have little room at the moment).

Got a question, recently acquired a place that has a 1952-55 International Harvester, can’t find anything online about it, it’s in almost perfect condition for its age and works wonders. Do you have any insight on the brand. Has R-12 and a Tecumseh S

Wow that’s cool! Do you know of tumbler? If so, look up “Ken horan” he has put in a ton of hours into his page that covers vintage air conditioners! What are you plans for it?

@@kenb1918 It’s in the wall, I slid it out, NuBrited it a and put a new filter in as it still had the original AmeriGlas filter in it and I use it regularly, freezes out the room in about 10 minutes. In the main house it has a 63 Carrier that I also restored and works just as good. Looked at his tumblr and didn’t see anything, never heard of anyone else with a IH unit. I’ll upload a video of it.
