Interesting project. Just needs a little love. I had the wagon version and discovered that the narrow tires with the mud tread, like the one on the front, would get down and dig where the wide ones that are so popular would not. They would stay on top of the mud and spin where as the skinny ones would get thru the sloppy stuff and get down where the harder stuff was and get traction.

mines a '52 W/O Pickup... with a 289.. and Timkin with 5:38's, rides like a cement mixer also.. lol..

Blew up the 4 banger, put a 289 in added a Studebaker overdrive and drove it plenty.

Probably so. I’ve always wanted one of those, “M35”, I drove them every day when I was in the air force over in Korea.

I just got a ‘52 pickup with a Chevy 194 in it. The same crossmember was removed and welded in front of the radiator. I’ve got WARN locking hubs. It also has the same overdrive lever arrangement. Do you have a WARN overdrive in yours? I ask because some other overdrives have the lever at a different spot along the tunnel.

Aren’t those Land Rover Series 3 front seats and not rear seats? They look like a great fit. What size seat rails did you use, or are the seat frames mounted in a stationary position? Thanks buddy.

It’s the third row from a Range Rover. Permanently mounted, no rail.

It’s the original willys 3 speed with a separate overdrive attached to the back of the transfer case.
