Nice looking truck, ive just saved one from the scrap man my self, had been sitting for some time. Fired up almost straight away and runs very well. Videos on my channel if ur interested

Quite clearly the air tanks were full before it was started, but absolutely wonderful vehicle….

No they weren't. She was full of air leaks. On these old trucks the air puts the brakes on not off

Typical AEC sound, but there is i m o a True remark, Gardner the first in direct diesel injection,, a perfect halve bowl in the top of the piston, the firing chamber, A E C in basic the same, added an erected spits in that bowl, sounds are + - the same
