@@Kinseydsp Yes, exactly..I like old cars to look like they did in this film, when they were new and came off the assembly line...not just a shell of an old car with absurd lowering, modern drivetrains and interiors, ridiculously large diameter wheels with rubber band tires...or that gawd-awful fad called "patina", or any other fad of the times...they look best original, and they are only original once..the survivors deserve that....

Great footage of the 55 Chevrolets being assembled & in color ! I remember seeing the 55 Chevy's everywhere in the 60's. Back when America was great & had a real strong middle class when the workers benefited as much as the owners. When wealth was more evenly distributed & the dollar was worth something. When you could pay cash to buy the American Dream. A new car & house my dad paid cash when he bought a new 57 Chevy Bel Air straight from the factory. AMERICA WHAT HAPPENED ????

@@58fins You are right & it's sad to look back at how great it was 65 years ago. Hard to look ahead when America already peaked long ago. As a kid in the '60's i took the '55 Chevy's & my dad's '57 Chevy for granted thinking these cars would always be around. Suddenly they became dinosaurs....the ravages of father time. I worked in a new car store in 2015 I only saw one cash sale for 20k all the rest were financed. I financed a 2010 used car from the store so I know what it's like to be in debt. I can't recall seeing my dad pay with a credit card only cash, he said he only financed a new Chevrolet in 1951.I never saw that car but I saw my grandpa's used '51 Chevy financing was rare back then
