Hey Buddy, I appreciate the Hisea offer but immediately after signing up I began receiving SPAM emails by the dozens, I had over 100 spam emails in my inbox this morning, deleted them all and had another 50 within minutes. 😮 I unsubscribed from Hisea and they stopped. No biggie and still appreciate you and all you do.

After completing any project there is always someone who shows up like a blister after the work is over and gives me some "pointers" on what they would have done better... I have found that I usually get my point across when I turn to them and say, "I was wondering if there was a better way to get the job done so when I was in the middle of working on it I turned around and you weren't standing there to help so I did it my way. Now that you have seen me screw this up seven ways to Sunday I can expect a perfect job from you. Thank you... for stopping by..."

That inline filter is a decent modification. It will save headaches. I would be concerned of the rubber hoses close to the exhaust, though. As for the starter switch, I wondered about that when you said you thought you had to shim the lever. I've had trouble with those before. Some of those new starter mount switches are junk.

I'm a firm believer in an inline fuel filter. Have used them on my 1950 Farmall Super for over 20 years and have never had a fuel issue.

Heck you've got a new tractor that you're not sure about the fuel system. I'd go with a bigger filter myself. Ounce of prevention and all that. That's a nice little Cub. 😁👍

I have a question... I understand the exhaust being run kinda down the side and out the back for the mowing cubs but why didnt the snow plow cub have a regular exhaust stack? Would make replacing the fuel line with a rubber one a whole lot safer.

Sure the sediment bowls worked well originally, but these tractors are 60+ years old, and most fuel tanks are far from perfect. I'd rather have a decent filter that will keep me from having to mess with the carb while using the machine than be all original.

Excellent video Gino :) also always like fuel filter from tank to carb to and also Desiel motor to because get bad dirtness from tank has collected when sitting or line suck in too! Seen to many problems and costly repairs too! One thing like about those clear filter see flow better than steal one can't see nothing except moisture around plus freeze up fast too in Winter Season months!
