I have one that's got a serial number with a minus side on the backing plate and I wonder what it was like- 20,000 what's the serial number of that guitar if I don't don't mind me asking, nobody ever puts the serial numbers how come is it big secret? Drives me f****** crazy

Most people don’t show the serial numbers because high end counterfeiters use actual serial numbers to attempt to legitimize their forgeries. Additionally, skilled thieves often make false claims that high end items were stolen from them and can have forged documents supporting their claim. It’s sad that the world has come to this, but people need to be extra protective of their personal information and most treasured possessions.
