Dream rig and outstanding playing. He knows what to do with a Tele.

Terrific demo -- he did that beautiful Tele proud!

Wow - I've heard him play in a band, but this is incredible playing. There should be a Kickstarter to put that guitar in Jeffs' hands permanently!

Goose bumps man, That's the perfect sounding tele. In his hands anyway. You should just give that tele to him. Almost a crime not to.
@ericthompson35514 жыл бұрын
if it were yours would you give it to him ? I see this comment SO much and its ridiculous.
@jayceburns82463 жыл бұрын
@@ericthompson3551 it is your response that I find ridiculous. I think he meant it as a compliment to the player not a demand to actually gift it to him. But who knows?
@jayceburns82463 жыл бұрын
In fact everybody should lay down their teles at his feet.

Fantastic Jeff!!! That second to last set sounds like you're no stranger to banjo picking either. There was another commentator that said he'd pay to see a small venue demo set of you with Emerald City Guitars. I heartily agree with that!!! Awesome!!!

Sweet rig, nice playing.

Gotta add this thought... People are paying big bucks to see nonsense modern concerts. I would pay money to see this guy play that rig in person. Why don't we have small venue concerts like this, focusing on the gear as well as the musician. Pretty much just like this video but longer. I'd go for sure.

Not the most perfect string alignment, but surely sounds glorious, especially in the hands of a good player like this.
@Tonetwisters4 жыл бұрын
This has the old style wiring, where you can get a lot of flexibility in tones just by using the switch. You can ease that switch into the first notch position to get both pickups, often wired from the factory out of phase, which is a super cool sound, and one that James Burton used a lot with Ricky Nelson. That amp sounds fabulous.

Man people’s definition of 100% original is ever changing! 100% means 100 out of 100. It literally means every little thing is original. Yes even the frets!
@joonasarmpalu78055 жыл бұрын
Not trying to start an argument, but would you consider a guitar 100% original if it didn't have the original strings? Frets and strings both get wear through playing until the guitar becomes unplayable (obviously strings just wear out much quicker). The same doesn't really happen to tuners, pickups, pots etc.

Ive been looking for this exact 1955 blonde tele for years from the fender custom shop in NOS, and I haven’t found a single one. For being SUCH a popular fender vintage model, it’s shocking that the custom shop doesn’t release these constantly. It’s like they don’t know the color formula for blonde anymore. I don’t get it! 😄
@beestew794 жыл бұрын
Check out a used 50's Classic Lacquer. They are great guitars. Put some new pickups in there and you have a killer blonde. Save some cash too.
@brucechavez95354 жыл бұрын
And how much would that be? I'll bet it's about a minimum of $ 10k to $20k maybe? No, thank you. I'll just get me a brand new Toyota Corolla then get a $100 to $200 Tele from a pawnshop or used one (made in Mexico) from Guitar Center itself ...and buy a set of Fender vintage noiseless pickups...:)

You know what? I’m refusing to accept “I’ll never be able to own something like this.” I will. I will wall into a shop like this, find this and say “This one.” Then walk out with it after paying what it takes to own it. If Jesus tarries long enough, I’ll own it. If he gets in a hurry, I’ll have one just like it in heaven. This I declare.
