I rolled the chassis out and put the radiator on. There is a small leak which will need to get fixed. This is my 239 Y-Block Ford Engine. It is on my 1955 Ford F250

Thank you for keeping that engine alive. My 56 will have one in it maybe later in the year. Glad you didn't put some GM crate motor in it . Not that I'm against GM, they just don't belong in Fords.

Thanks, It just seems right having a Y-block in her. Since it was my wife's grandpa's truck. Keeping it mostly original is important too.

Just finished my 292. Running on engine stand now. Nothing like the sound of a yblock.

I’m still running a 292 in my 64 f100! Great job!

Awesome and Thanks. At car shows I always look for Y-Blocks. October of 2020 I drove it from Central Missouri to Central Pennsylvania for Truckstock. She goes through oil a bit, but otherwise ran great. I did back roads there and interstate back since it was running so well.

@@joekirby1351 If you go to my KZbin channel, moonlightford f100 , you’ll see why it took me 2-3 weeks to do an oil change! Plus other truck stuff..
