Isnt there always a spider where you dont want em. That looks like a massive tank, well done getting it out of there at all. Looks good for rust like you say, maybe refurbish?

The surface looked pretty good! We pulled the sending unit and float and everything out and the inside is really nasty. Looks like the tank has been fixed before too. I've been looking for a new tank but they were pretty specific to this model and I cannot find one anywhere. Ideally, I'd like to fix this one or save it but it doesnt look like a strong possibility. Camera battery died before I could show all that good stuff but I'll get it next time!

@@Explorer-pj1nx If its not rusted inside and with not being easy to find one in better condition, I would say refurb. But thats easy to say from the other side of the internet without having seen it IRL :)

True! I have a scope I can use to look around in there, which will hopefully answer some of those questions. The sending unit and float were disgusting though, but it didnt seem there was any rust inside. She might just need a really thorough rinse! Stay tuned! Lol
