To think that tri-color was offered back then, and we can only get shades of Black and gray today! Thank you, Warren.

Exactly ! What is going on with the lack of color of our modern cars ? Gray - 50 shades, black, red, and white. That's it. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed this Dodge Chris and thank you.

Nice survivor ! Second year for very attractive totally contemporary Forward Look styling. Looks like reupholstered and repainted. Also notice a floor transmission shift handle. Makes one wonder if engine and transmission are from later model year car.

A truly nice survivor with Forward Look styling and a completely redone interior and possibly repainted. This dealership discourages opening hoods so of course I don't but also would like to know what powers this. This 56 model has just a few changes from the '55 but still an attractive car. Many thanks for your comments ML.

The original interior would have been nice, but l would love to have this Dodge. If I remember correctly, the original interior was tri pattern and had like sliver specs in it.

Nice interior even though it's not original. Someone put some money in this Dodge with a possible paint job also. I remember what the original interior looked liked but overall, this Dodge looks pretty smart. Glad you like this Gary enough to have it in your dream garage. Many thanks.

Good evening 55lincoln, Would not be a Dodge from 1956 without the push button automatic transmission. Another gorgeous car .I bet there is a,hemi under that hood

I always liked that push button transmission selector. I think that 315 engine was a Hemi. Gorgeous time capsule from the fifties. Thanks Austin for liking.

I looked it up on Hagerty, and new for 56 was the 315 Hemi engine in this model

Yes, I totally agree. I think of this as a Ram Dodge car. Thanks for enjoying this survivor.
