The cable info will come in handy, thanks! What’s the chrome loom that you used for the tail lights from or used for? I don’t know the width of the rails but I wonder if a tank from a mid to late 80’s suburban or blazer would work? The trucks had saddle tanks on both sides but the burbs and blazers put them between the rear frame rails. Also really like the column! I’m gonna have to go back into your earlier videos and see if you have a video on it.

Hello! You can search "chrome wire loom" on Amazon and find it in various sizes. There are a few options for a fuel tank, 87-96 G30 van, Bronco II and late 70's Bronco will give you side fill but you have to notch the frame a bunch (too much imo) if you want the tank to sit below the bed. I think a mid-60's Mustang is one of the most popular which is the top filler. I just haven't decided which I prefer but I do want an in-tank fuel pump that is compatible with my EFI system. Please check out Episode 7 for the steering column install info. Thanks for watching!

@@FadedPaintGarage Bob Drake sells a universal hanger for a fuel pump. A Walbro 255 and install kit can be had for under $100 which will support that 5.0 just fine. Depending on the tank you choose, there may be an EFI tank/hanger from the factory. Definitely looking forward to what you do. I've never seen one of those trucks close up, did you consider raising the bed floor? I've seen it done on heavily c-notched trucks where they want factory appearing, but they need the clearance.

@@bearsstuff Thanks! I might even go with an aftermarket custom fuel tank but, since I'm cheap, probably something OEM. They sell aftermarket 60's mustang tanks with an EFI pump since that is a really common swap these days. I will consider a raised bed floor if needed. I want a 20+ gallon tank and I don't want it dragging the ground so I might end up raising the tank/bed in the end anyway.
