Barn find in the state of Arkansas and sitting for over 44 years. Six months of work put it back on the road and traveling along The Blue Ridge Parkway!

Thanks for this video it brought back a lot of memories I inherited 56 from my uncle when I was 15 and it was my project and mode of transportation for several years until a car ran a stop sign and t boned it My truck like yours had the 2 barrel carb and intake replaced with a 4 barrel and the front cross over pipe removed but the manifolds remained and dual exhaust ran from them I really wanted a new set of manifolds or headers but couldn’t afford them I did eventually replace the 272 with a 312 That truck would run😀 Enjoy your 56 still the coolest truck ever made

Still brings back some cool memories. I just bought a 1962 3/4 ton ford long wheel base unibody from Sam and Monica. My plans in the far future is to mount the body on a late model frame motor etc. I’m looking forward to seeing more pictures of the big window. Take care Jimmy. Bob

Bob, I'm presently rebuilding the motor. The block, heads, crank and rods are still in the machine shop. While waiting I'm putting new bearings in the transmission.

Bob, I saw the Unibody truck on the property when I picked up the '56. I think that would look nice on a 4x4 frame!

That is awesome! I've owned quite a few 56 F100's over the years and have two now. One small window with 223 inline 6 and 3 speed and a big window with y block and Fordomatic. Are the springs you installed the lowering springs or stock replacements?

The springs I used are from Eaton Detroit Spring and are of Stock Height. Called the manufacture and talked with sales. They we very informative when I called! Thanks for watching! www.eatondetroitspring.com/
