Never doubted for a second that this wouldn’t have sold in one day at that price! Beautiful example of another labor of love by Larry!

The 54 Jewel will be going up for sale this winter. It's the same size as this Shasta and the same basic floor plan.

Is that the trailer you got from Jim Wilkins?
@mobiltec5 ай бұрын
NO. That was the 59 Deville. I still have it. This one is the one that is the banner for my channel... I restored this 12 years ago. Check the description.

@mobiltec l met him at a guy's house that I was doing handyman work at. He was pretty active on the WW website. But personally no.

@@RippSnortin He was the guy that all the LA TV stations counted on as the rep for all the fires going on at any given time. Major big wig for the fire depts. So you probably saw him on TV many times without knowing it. His wife fo 50 years was killed by a water truck delivering water to his ranch down below. And he was there at the time. Must have been a horrible sight. He sold everything and contacted me to buy his trailer for the $500 he paid for it. I knew him 10 years prior when he bought it. He had me look at it. I have the video on my channel. I still have the trailer and will restore it eventually. It's a 1959 Deville.

It's in most of my travel and camping videos. It's a 1978 with a 3/4 stock suspension, NP205 xfer case with the 4 spd with lo granny gear. I can walk faster than it idles on it's own in that gear. 33x12.50x15 tires. 350 with the quadrajet. Simple. Works all the time. Never lets me down.
