I always recommend these videos to anyone who will listen, been calling it "The most 'Murican video I've ever seen" though to be fair I'm a Swede so I don't know how well it stands up to others opinions. Taking a close to free car, getting it in approximately roadworthy shape, then driving it 250 miles to watch Nascar isn't something that would be possible here, just one reason I envy the US a bit lol

@31:20 those electric fuel pumps were an after production retrofit on Chevy p30/p37 chassis to help with vapor lock. They pumped to the pump on the engine. They are dependant on the oil pressure switch to engage and have a time out.

Hey Junkyard Digs Roofing silicone (such as Henry Tropicool wet patch roof repair) is the miracle solution to stop RV roof leaks. You could smear it over sticks and make a water tight roof!

We’re gonna take it too a country concert about 3 hours south in Dayton OH and then plan to take it too a nascar race in August in Brooklyn Michigan! So me and my friends are super excited! This was awesome. I have an 87 Winnebago that was similarly revived. After a radiator, leaky fuel pressure regulator at the tank, a few vac lines and mouse-chewed electric choke wire repairs, that BBC is just as trusty as ever. Thanks for sharing

Main tank must have at least 25% fuel before generator will crank. It's a safety think to keep you from being stranded after camping. Good luck

He could swap engines with the Burnt Turd 250 Nova, but the motor home might need lower gears to climb hills with a 250. I think it could still hit 55 on the interstate though, at least with a few upgrades.
