Looks great. I am getting ready to do about the same thing to my 56 wagon. I bought 3 inch blocks and the ride tech bag over leaf. Fronts a bag with stock spindles. Looks like I might need to add drop spindles.

Depends where you are? Here in Australia I think this set up would be $15k or so nowadays

Mann I don’t think it’s that expensive here in the states to do that buddy mine a few years ago he put it right on his 40 business coupe I don’t think it cost more than a few thousand bucks. But he took the air ride off because the bags kept leaking so now it’s just dropped a couple inches.

Hi Dave, the supplier of the kit says they have used the single leaf in heaps of cars no issue. The rear was axle tube onto chassis and maybe 1.5” off ground for chassis rails. but the front was frame on ground ( it has drop spindles also )

Hi Jamie, where are you located? The kit we used was mostly Ridetech and Accuair. Wheels were 15x7 with 4” backspace. I’ll have to check tyre size

Mr. Smart when you installed your airbag system did you know that you would have to remove the drive line (if you have a cross bar in the way) and the rear shocks? In order for the rear end to drop low enough to allow the tire/wheel to be removed. I just tried this and it still “stresses the fender” I’ve been told removing the shocks goes with headaches of owning such a system.:((((

Hey Dave, we had the wheels on and off the rear once bags were installed, you gotta put Jack stands under the body and let the suspension hang, then tilt one side up a bit to get them off……. But I had to do the same on my old 57 with 2” blocks….. the joys of low cars 😉
