Thank You for Putting This together. My mom Who Just passed away ,was Baptized at this assembly, And Faithfully served for 66 years. She was a great spiritual inspiration and passed the truth on to 3 generations. She will be missed until the New system is upon us.

I went with my Grandmother Dorothy and my Uncle Robert, I was 5 years old but I remember Bro. Knorr's voice during the last talk Sunday afternoon. We stayed with an elderly Jewish couple near the Harlem river. Grandma and Uncle Robert patiently await the Resurrection.

How thankful I am to Jehovah to have come across this video and the others like it❣️ I remember being at this convention and enjoying the wonderful association - but I was young enough to not remember much of the content of the talks as I was only 8 years old. The only one I remember was a little bit of Bro. Frank’s talk “…..line upon line and measuring line upon measuring line .. here a little and there a little….” Now I am 71 and so happy to have found that talk on this channel. wow! My mother got baptized here! I was 3 and my entire family went. We took the train from Connecticut. I was young but I recall the train ride, sitting on the lawn on blankets and other things. So amazing. To have this film is such a jewel! My parents are both deceased now so I long for anything that makes me feel that they are still with me. We need the new system so badly. Wonderful , I was born 1958 , and I become Jehovahs witness 1982 . By house to house service the brothers have to found me in the Getto part of Germany . Iam so glad have just the privilege to serve for almost 4o years ! And can see the fulfillment of Bible prophecy uswell ! Very happy to see this Video !

My parents were baptized at this assembly. I was three years old. Baptize now since I was fourteen. My two daughters are in the truth and married Brothers and we have been serving Jehovah's since. My wife has also been serving for many years and come from a long line of Jehovah's witnesses.. thank you so much for your😅 video.

It's just simply wonderful to see films like this from the past! I was born in 1957, but attended an International Assembly at Yankee Stadium in the 70's. A 18 year old farm boy from south Georgia, I was at this assembly - a high light of my life. I was housed in a donated rooms an expensive hotel. I saw very little of the program - I got a job that kept me in a basement of Yankee Stadium. Later in 1958, I was in Bethel at 124 Columbia where I stayed until 1963 when I married a blue eyed girl in in the congregation I was assigned to and 60 years she is still the love of my life. I made the speakers list at Bethel, which I enjoyed.

My father drove with friends for 6 days non stop from San Francisco both ways. I was 6 years old, he did not take me. I have always wished I could have been there. But of course, there have been many other joyful conventions, and continue to be. Thank you for this recording.

Yes, that was back before you had to answer all those questions from a book, to see if you qualified! Back then the speaker would just ask you 2-3 questions. If you answered yes to all these you qualified! Then when you got in the water the brother performing the baptism would ask you if you answered yes to the questions. That was it!

Yes, Actually a good chance, as of today! We had the film footage for quite a while. Just this morning, some one that saw this video sent us an e-mail. With-in the contents, they told us they have the script (only) for "God Cannot Lie" and "Happiness of the New World society" a film that we also have but with out the script. So he will make photos of those and send them to us. It's a lot of work, and something we have to squeeze in between secular film and video digitizing, but we will have them both posted in time. We just can't be sure of when. Stay tuned! Should you ever come across anything having to to with the history of Jehovah's Witness, get in touch with us. Yes, there was a convention at the Yankee Stadium 1953 that the film “The New World Society in Action” was highlighting. This is another convention at the same place but in 1958, just 5 years later. The Society made other films in the era too. We have them and will post them over the next weeks or so - Lord willing!
