Always loved the looks and style of the 58 Ford Fairlane, they are they much BETTER looking than the 58 Chevy's.

These cars had T- bird engines. Very powerful.

No, actually the T Birds had simple Ford engines . Same as the other Fords.

Looks like quad headlights became THE thing about 1958. : )
@davidallen57763 жыл бұрын
That was when most of the car industry switched en masse to the quad headlight thing...but the year was nothing to write home about economy-wise!

My dad had a car like that back in like 1966 it was sitting in our alley and I used to play in it when I got home from school is had a 3-speed on the tree and I remember pushing the buttons on the Town & Country radio I still have the radio I told my dad I said I want that car when I'm old enough to drive he just ignored me it got cut up for scrap I was about six years old then I wish I had that car now

@@keithhebert9334 That is a sad story, gee whizz, these 58 Ford Fairlanes are the most beautiful looking cars out there! Better looking than the 58 Chevy's, that IS a fact.

Found one on a junkyard, but it was a four door, with the more pedestrian 332. I was looking for a 390 FE, so I passed.

@@jeromebreeding3302 I would have grabbed it up anyway and restored it regardless. You could always sell it in the future and since it is a rare car out there, look at the money you'd have in the long run.

I never liked fender skirts either, however they do come off and you can drive the car and show it off without them you know.
