1959 Corvette test drive at Laguna Classic Cars

This gorgeous 1959 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in Roman Red with white coves over a red vinyl interior, and is powered by a 283 CID V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a white soft top, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Pertronix electronic ignition components, 15″ steel wheels with spinner-style covers, a Wonder Bar AM radio retrofitted for auxiliary audio inputs, quad headlights, split chrome bumpers, fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear bumper corners. The windshield moldings were replaced in May 2023. This C1 Corvette comes with a reproduction operations manual, spare parts, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The 15″ steel wheels feature spinner-style covers and are wrapped in 205/75 Coker American Classic whitewall tires marked with 2021 date codes. The car came equipped from the factory with an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle with leaf springs.
The bucket seats were re-upholstered in red vinyl under prior ownership and are accompanied by red carpets and trim. Equipment includes an analog clock, lap belts, and a Wonder Bar AM radio that has been retrofitted with an RCA input plug for accessory audio.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a sweeping 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 283ci V8 features an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and a Pertronix electronic ignition kit and Flame Thrower coil have been installed. Additional details include Corvette-script finned valve covers and a chrome ignition cover. A spare carburetor and air cleaner cover are included in the sale.
This vehicle is exempt from California smog requirements, comes with a clean and clear California title.
