My dad had a galaxie 2 door when i was born in 59. He had it until i was 9 then got a 68 galaxie 500 xl convertible. Loved the taillights on the 59!

The 1959 Ford had the flimsiest and cheapest looking grill of any car of that period. You can push them in with your thumb.

My dad had a 1959 ford 4 door sedan, I fell in love with the 59 ford cars at that time. I bought my 1959 Galaxie, Fairlane 500 2 door hard top in june 1965. I drove the car for 10 years then parked it. I still have the car and a sister 4 door sedan as well. Now my grand childer fell it is time to take them from storage so we can restore them together.!!! I'm one happy Grand father .
