The only downside to having cars still made like that today is then these beautiful classics would not be anything special. Otherwise I would be all for it. But at least in 62 years they will still be around but these new nightmares they’re building won’t be.

The Europeans love their '50's and early '60's Detroit. They've made it their mission to save these gems. The 4 colors the 300 came in that year were white, black, red and my favorite Terra Cottta. Not sure 'bout that purple.

Swivel seat was something that should be put into modern cars. It would be much more comfortable for "vintage" knees. Looks like this car had power steering too. A real plus for such a heavy car.

Inconceivable that someone with $10,000 to burn on a paint job would choose a ridiculous, polarizing purple shade nobody else on earth would like. Don't pick an attractive, marketable color like black or metallic blue or candy apple red metallic, whatever you do. Beautiful car, ruined!
