1 tier below Cadillac. Has the same roof, all the same glass. But sitting in the driveway doesn't have the panache the Cadillac brings. It's still a very nice car!

Beautiful car. Same color combo including the vinyl top as my 70 Sedan DeVille. #95 Cinnamon Firemist is the paint color.

When you would purchase one they would also sell you a gasoline tanker that you would need to tow behind it
@NikkiWalters6536 күн бұрын
You need to pull a tanker behind to keep enough fuel on hand
@NikkiWalters6536 күн бұрын
You have to tow your own tanker to get there.

They had to have a gas hose attached to it so it wouldn’t run out of gas running across that stage.

Beautiful Cadillac! I have a 58 Cadillac my parents bought in 1960. I was 1 year old, mom signed it over to me in 1982.. series 62 sedan. Prestwick gray, 2 tone silver interior. Has power windows, wonderbar radio, and rare Factory AC. Lifelong Southern California car, in good shape on the road. 😊

Ah. The 70s. When cars were cars and drivers were glad they were ❤. This was the most expensive car in 1971.

Probably could use more elegant background music. This is a Caddy not a ‘Vette.

The correct sabre wheel hubcap for a non Eldorado car is the large red plastic medallion used on the 1957 hubcap. No additional corona.

Rene Delisle's former Canadian EB5 Bright Blue Metallic R-code 1970 Hemi R/T SE Charger. Ultra rare car. Only about 15-17 1970 Hemi R/T SE Chargers were built in all cars. Only year the 426 Hemi was available in the R/T SE Charger. Way more 1970 Challenger Hemi R/T SE's exist though. About 60 of them were built. My EB5 U-code 1970 440 Magnum Dodge Charger R/T is the exact twin to this car. Same EB5 Bright Blue Metallic color, same V6W white longitudinal stripes coming off of the R/T door scoops, same B5 Blue interior and the same V1W white vinyl top too. ❤❤❤❤

I'm nearly 73 (ie born '52). I saw one of these in Cannes (south of France) when I was 8 or 9. The car was probably brand new. I fell in love there and then. This is the one car, if I ever come across a genie, for which I will make my wish. It transcends beauty and goes into the realms of existential. It's a personal thing of course - some may not lie this car - but, for me, it is automotive royalty and perfection of style and magnificence.

That automobile is perfection! When cars were special, if one owned a Cadillac, one new this person was successful and well to do. When cars could be identified by just observing. When someone could by an economical car or a Cadillac. Now they're all the same, have to look at the car emblem to identify them. Now manufacturers add a bunch of unnecessary items they get cheap from China and overpriced everything. I think they may be realizing that people are staying away.

The only car that matched this, was the Mercedes 600. They both beat RR. But, they are so different despite sharing many common features. Cadillac was more revolutionary, streamlined and future oriented than the 600. The MB was meant to be chauffeur driven, the cadillac is a drivers car

I'm a long-time salted in the shell car nut. Nevertheless, I have to say that the Eldorado Broughsm is really not that pretty a car. In fact it is somewhat bizarre. The tailfins are really very overpowering, and the greenhouse and rear window treatment was already somewhat dated by the time 1958 rolled around. In fact, a two- door version of it was incorporated into the 1949 Cadillac. This very similar four- door hardtop design treatment was originally used on the '55 through ' 57 Chevrolet Bel-Air four- foor hardtops if one cares to look . A more formal roofline would have improved the Brougham significantly. Most cars that lavish attention and luxurious appointments focusing on the rear passengers generally provide those same passengers with more privacy than the Brougham does. The big wraparound rear glass seems inappropriate on what is essentially an owner- driven limousine. So, for me the Brougham has always been about a 7 on the scale.
