I'm a first time subscriber but been watching your videos for several months. I am 80 years old, born and raised on a farm in southern Louisiana until I was 18, moved to the city for a career, now 80 and retired. I so enjoy watching you work hundreds of acres in one day compared to working behind a horse or two and happy to work 2-3 acres daily. It seems there are very few people working 2100 acres plus a large milking operation. But I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for allowing us to share some great experiences with you.

It's far more interesting to see how these older machines and systems work than watching a guy play with one of the modern touchpad menu-driven spaceship cabins I've been seeing elsewhere. The newest stuff is all gibberish to me with a lot of proprietary acronyms and brand-specific symbols. A twenty second explanation of one of your machines and at least I feel like I actually learned something. Thanks.👍

Hi Saskdutch Kid (Jan): Greetings from California. I don't hang on your every word; however, when you give your discourse, I am attentive. The following is NO BIG DEAL, but during this vlog you referred to a piece of equipment as a "THING", 20 times. You do it in such a way that's not boring or offensive. You are among my Top 4 favorite channels and I believe you are the only one with "thing" at the ready. I live in a concrete jungle and watching you takes away a lot of the hustle of daily living with pollution, noise and at times rude people. I, at times, envy your lifestyle; open spaces, fresh (?) air to breathe and masses of people to deal with; BUT not the hard work!! You are personable.knowledgeable.dedicated! ALL four of you young men are "unique and a special breed!) Wishing you continued success, XLNT health and good times. Thanks for keeping some of us sane. (BTW: For what it's worth ~~ I'm a retired English professor) So, you can see the connection.

Jan as always a great video!!!! I have a very similar drill, it's a old Deere LA drill. Mine is a hoe drill it has small shovels were y'alls has disk. So the name press drill comes from the large "press" wheels on the back. 20' will make you appreciate the big air seeder lol
