Thanks for sharing the video of these stoves. Now I will be on the look out for one of these at flea markets and yard sales.

I really appreciate this video. I inherited one of these stoves as a young Boy Scout and used it a lot, still have it. It still works. The one I have has no markings on it. Until your video I had no idea as to its name or manufacturer. So my occasional attempts at Google Fu had no results. Thank you so much.

Yep, cool stoves. I have a Turn with the removable pot stands and an East German stove similar to your Volcano, free standing doesn’t fold up. Back when I got mine I wish I was a little more aggressive collecting, like you say now hard to find and expensive. .

That's awesome you have one of those I hope you use it I'd love to have one but they are expensive and sometimes not complete I wish they were still made today Thanks for your comment

Great devices! And relatively quite compared to more modern devices-that use petrol. There is a GDR thingy, called a "Juwel" that is supposed to sound like a Volkswagen Beetle with a broken exhaust when started-will get you in contact with everybody else camping out when using it to create the hot water for a coffee in the morning I was told...I wanted to get one when they were sold in a clearance, but was to slow to get one ;-) They are expensive now as well ;-)

Thanks for commenting I believe the juwel stove uses white gas There are tons of similar stoves out there and they are fairly loud

Turm means tower, hence the logo.

I have one of those its a Touring Turm with a brass tank. My guess its much older than the ones you show, Ebay has some, rediculous prices for what i think is a fairly weak heater/stove.

I agree The prices are insane I do think they are great and there's nothing else like them
